A Day in the life of October.

 When you catch a "black frog" in your sandbox...

When you get a haircut but you look cute before and after anyway.

When your cat catches a freaking blue jay and brings it in the house, alive, and uninjured...

So I put on my "bird liberating" armor... because birds are scary.

I have the cutest rookie ever.

And Claire decided one day to stick her pacifiers in a box and mail them to babies who need them. All on her own... and never looked back. So she got a new bike.

She also got a new sticker book....

The National Night Out to Prevent Crime happened right in our front yard.

Claire and Colin are perfecting their playing pretend, and this is now Claire's dog... his name is "Dog."

And when I found them cuddling together while watching TV, and my heart exploded.

And then found out that they hate pictures that are Black and White. They say it robs them of all their colors...

 And that time Claire couldn't sleep at 3 am so we goofed off taking selfies...
