5 Years of Marriage and the State Fair/Children's Aquarium

On October 3, Shannon and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Oh, how action-packed 5 years can be!

We didn't go out to dinner or have romantic date. We had been feeling like we hadn't spend much time as a family and for once, the level of germs in the house were at an all time low. So we took half days off of work and took the kids to the State Fair so they could see the Aquarium and have funnel cake. It was expensive and hot, and I think the kids liked it, but at this age there isn't too much for them to do outside of the stroller... and even though it was Adam's first year to be able to ride rides, it was over priced. Of course it is, it's the Fair. But we pay for it anyway because it's worth it for the smiles.

handsome.

Colin bonded with the sting rays. They loved him.

Adam's first ride... it made him so happy.

The twin's first funnel cake. Neither was incredibly impressed, but I think Claire downright hated it.

Silly girl.
