Fourth of July

For the Fourth we went out to Lake Grapevine to watch the fireworks. I think the kids had a good time, mostly... but it was less than "relaxing" for Shannon and I. Adam's ability to WAIT for fireworks is low... and they are little, and fireworks start way after their bedtime. Plus you have to get there incredibly early just to get a good spot (which, unforunately, we missed the mark unintentionally... the fireworks were blocked by a huge tree).

But they did get to play and I got a few photographs so it wasn't a complete waste. We actually ended up leaving before they were over, and the kids fell asleep in the car on the way home.

They started playing this game randomly where they run up and push each other over. I'm not really thrilled with it but Claire and Adam think it's hilarious, regardless of who gets pushed. Weirdos.

He got banished to the carseat until fireworks started because of inability to listen.

And then for some reason... we set him free.
