Broken Bow

Last weekend we went to Broken Bow, Oklahoma to visit with most of Shannon's side of the family for Thanksgiving/Christmas. It was our first long trip (3 hours) with all three kids and we stayed for the day. We left the house about 6 am and got home about 10 pm, and needless to say we were all exhausted. We had fun and wanted to stay longer but Shannon had pre-arranged plans to go to the Cowboy's game for a work event the next day. Next time maybe Adam will get a little more time to play with his cousins.

Below are some pictures of the day.

Colin and Claire with Aunt Brandi and Papa.

Adam with Papa, getting some help being careful on the steep hills.

Adam helped build a fire.

Claire got a doll, and she was very excited.

Krysta helping with the fire.

Adam helping bring wood to the fire.

Adam was far too tired to eat the feast, so he napped. When we woke up the only thing we could get him to eat was an apple (thanks to Aunt Brandi)

Caden (3) and Adam (2 1/2) bonded over their apples.

Watching, but not going near the fire. He knows he doesn't like "hot."

Cousins.
Caden let Adam play with his new action figures.
And Caden let Colin "play" with the Incredible Hulk too.
