Pumpkin Patch

We picked one of the last available weekends to go to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch as a last minute excursion. Either we were brave or stupid, but the truth is it took longer to get there and back than it did to stay and hang out.

This was mostly because by the time we left the house it was already nearing Adam's nap time, but also because it was cold. Usually I think it's cold and everyone else thinks I'm a wimp. But Colin agreed... it was cold.

Claire didn't think it was too bad, but she didn't want to be cooped up in the stroller either.
Claire refused to wear a hat.
Adam has a big obsession with pumpkins and spiders lately because of Halloween, and it's nice that he gets into the holiday "spirit."

A REAL LIVE TRACTOR! (or whatever it is -- they are all "tractors")
One of my favorites.
Adam's obsession with pumpkins lately is adorable, but when you appease the pumpkin obsession with trips to Fall-related events like pumpkin patches, fall festivals and other such fun activities, that pumpkin obsession morphs into a new love:

The Bounce House.

There was one at Fall Fast (aka Jenny's Birthday), and there was one at the pumpkin patch. Guess where Adam spent most of his time that Saturday?

Watching Adam jump.

Colin still says: "It's cold."
